4. Pressure Requirements of Yokohama Type Pneumatic Rubber Fenders
Evergreen Maritime produces marine rubber fenders with initial pressures of 50 kPa (pneumatic 50) and 80 kPa (pneumatic 80). All pressure parameters—internal, endurance, safety valve setting, and hydraulic test pressures—are fully compliant with ISO17357:2002 standards.
Fenders with a diameter of 2500 mm or larger are equipped with a safety valve to release excess internal pressure if accidentally over-compressed, ensuring safe and reliable operation under extreme conditions.
