Shanghai Institute of Optical EUV and X-ray three-dimensional array focus imaging research progress

Under certain conditions, the M * N dimension of the structure can be reduced to 1 * N dimension, with the help of algebraic theorem to the generalized Fibonacci structure. Compared with the latter, the former multi-layer focal plane distance more easily to achieve micron and nano-scale, and therefore more easily used in biological cell imaging, microscopy, lithography and other fields. However, the distance between multi-layer focal planes in generalized Fibonacci structure is more easily macroscale, so it is easier to use in long-wavelength optical display, virtual projection technology, laser processing, laser beam splitting, beam synthesis and so on. The use of different bands can be achieved from the microscopic to the macro-free distance control.

In the visible light band, the relief phase is usually used to control the wavefront phase of the beam, but this solution is difficult to achieve in the EUV and X-ray bands. The research team cleverly mapped the phase modulation into a coordinate function of the spatial position, and realized the function conversion from amplitude modulation to phase modulation, thereby solving the phase modulation problem in the short wavelength and the X-ray wave band, Array imaging provides a new idea. The technology can be used for X-ray to millimeter wave diffraction imaging and wavefront control.
