The UV Weathering Test Machine is one of the most widely used accelerated weathering testers globally. This machine simulates the harmful effects of long-term outdoor exposure by subjecting test samples to conditions that mimic the most aggressive elements of weathering—ultraviolet radiation, moisture, and heat. The UV accelerated weathering chamber utilizes fluorescent lamps to emit a spectrum centered around ultraviolet wavelengths. Moisture is introduced through condensation, while temperature is regulated using heaters.
