High-purity magnesium powder production process

To meet the urgent need for a national high-purity magnesium powder, China's efforts to increase the production of high purity magnesium powder, and developed a series of highly efficient, energy-saving production processes. At present, mainly used in the metal vapor condensation purity magnesium Mg-04 as the raw material for producing high purity magnesium. Specifically, the basic principle of the metal vapor condensation method for preparing magnesium powder is that the magnesium metal has a lower melting point and a higher vapor pressure, so that the solid magnesium is melted into a liquid state in the evaporation zone under a certain temperature and residual ammonia pressure. The generated vapor is continuously raised to a condensation zone in the same system, and condensed and deposited as a powder on the surface of the condensing crystallizer in the zone.

The high-purity magnesium powder production process firstly undergoes an evaporation process, that is, in the existing milling device, solid rod-shaped, block-shaped high-purity magnesium is charged into a large tank, and the solid magnesium is first melted into a liquid state to continuously generate steam. Thereafter, it is subjected to a condensing powdering process, in which the magnesium vapor is raised from the evaporation zone to the upper condensing zone of the tank, and finally condensed into a powder on the plane of the disk flat crystallizer which is finally in the center of the condensing zone.

In general, the emergence of high-purity magnesium powder production technology has filled the technical gap in China's magnesium powder deep processing industry, laying a good foundation for the rapid development of China's metal magnesium industry.
