The first domestic large-beam robot welding workstation developed by Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was successfully put into operation in Changxing Branch.
The workstation is mainly for the welding of long, deep and narrow bridge structures with complex internal structures. At present, the stable production of girders of various sizes and specifications of eight projects has been completed. After putting into production, the welding seam of the equipment is well formed, the welding and stitching rate is over 98%, which is better than manual welding, saving about 18% of welding consumables, saving about 60% of labor and increasing efficiency by about 30%.
The beam robot welding station is mainly composed of equipment monitoring system, parameterized programming system and robot welding system. The monitoring system can monitor the status of the equipment in real time, such as the use of the welding wire, the pressure state of the gas, etc., to achieve quantitative production statistics. The parametric programming system is developed according to the beam structure, adjustable beam partition size and spacing, and weld welding sequence to adapt to the welding of various sizes of the beam and obtain the minimum welding deformation.
It is reported that the robot welding system uses laser and wire phase composite technology to adapt to the accurate positioning of the workpiece position error. Combined with the solidified robot welding program, it can save the structure teaching or universal offline programming time and greatly improve the robot production efficiency.
