My biggest tanker separator project succeeded

Recently, China’s largest 300,000-ton offshore FPSO was moved from Dalian to Singapore, marking the consortium of the ConocoPhillips (China) Co., Ltd. ultra-large floating storage tank separators undertaken by the Marine Department of the Lanzhou Institute of Petroleum Machinery. The manufacturing project was successful.

According to reports, this super-large floating storage tanker was jointly developed by ConocoPhillips (China) Co., Ltd. and China National Offshore Oil Corporation. It is a hull project built for the Penglai Oilfield, and it is also the largest offshore floating oil tanker ever built in China. The separator and pressure vessel system undertaken by the Lanzhou Petroleum Machinery Research Institute is the core system on the entire floating oil storage tanks. There are 13 U steel stamp vessels with a total tonnage of more than 1,200 tons. The successful completion of this separator project ended the history of China’s large-scale offshore separators and pressure vessel systems relied on imports, indicating that the Lanzhou Institute of Petroleum Machinery has reached world-class levels in the field of large-scale lining material oil and gas and water treatment equipment technologies.
