The 2005 China Energy Strategy Summit Forum will be opened in Beijing on May 24th. Officials from the industry will gather at the forum to discuss the future direction of the energy industry.
It is reported that leaders of the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration of Work Safety, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, and the Development Research Center of the State Council and many other industry authorities will focus on the opportunities and challenges of the Chinese energy industry, security management and safe production, and energy development strategies. Important speeches are held on cutting-edge topics such as energy and recycling economy, power system reform, energy conservation and renewable energy, and future energy strategy outlook. The forum was organized by the Office of the Organizing Committee of the CIFO, the China Coal Industry Association, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, and co-organized by the China Coal Transportation and Marketing Association, the China Petroleum Enterprise Association, and the National Association of Industry and Commerce Petroleum Chamber of Commerce.
