At the end of August, the localization project for the key components of marine low-speed diesel engine cylinder liners and bearing bushes, which was led by Dalian Marine Diesel Engine Factory, passed the acceptance review organized by the National Defense Science and Technology Commission.
It is reported that the project was established in 2004, with Dalian Marine Diesel Engine Factory as the project responsible unit, and the production of cylinder liners, cast steel intermediates, bushings and high-pressure fuel for marine low-speed diesel engines by 7111 and Yichang Marine Diesel Engine Plants. Six high-tech, high-value-added key components such as pumps, explosion-proof valves and inter-axis vibration monitoring devices are used for joint technical research. The successful development of the project broke through 26 design and process technologies, obtained 19 special research technology recognition certificates, applied for 6 patents, completed 37 technical papers, and compiled 8 enterprise technical standards.
After the completion of the project, the localization rate of China's marine low-speed high-power diesel engines has increased by about 10% (calculated by value), and the price is only 1/2-2/3 of the import price, which greatly reduces the cost. Up to now, the scientific and technological achievements obtained from the localization of six key supporting components have been transformed into manufacturing technology, and mature technology has been formed, and it has begun to take shape. Type 6 products have achieved sales of nearly 100 million yuan, compared with imports, saving about 45 million yuan.
