From the 7th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, it was learned that on May 30th, the 7th Division of Agriculture and Shanghai Huaxin Petroleum Group Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement for a coal chemical project with a total investment of 100 billion yuan. The project is currently the largest investment project of the entire Corps. The preliminary work of the project's feasibility study report will be completed this year.

It is reported that the scale of the project is to produce 1.8 million tons of coal-based olefins, 4 million tons of coal-based oil, and supporting projects. The total investment is about 100 billion yuan. The project will be rolled over in three phases and will be sited in the Wuwu Industrial Park of the Agricultural 7th Division. The first phase of the project will start construction next year, with plans to invest 250 to 30 billion yuan, with an annual output of 600,000 tons of coal-to-olefins and 2 million tons of coal-based oil.
