Use of chromium and technical and economic indicators

Chrome iron ore divided by industrial use grade metallurgical, chemical grade, cast stone and refractory grade level.
1. Industrial requirements for metallurgical grade chrome ore Metallurgical grade chrome ore is mainly used for smelting various ferrochrome alloys. The chrome ore used to smelt ferrochrome alloys is divided into four grades according to different smelting purposes (the table below).

In addition to the above-mentioned composition requirements, the block size required for smelting carbon ferrochrome in blast furnace is 40-75 mm, and the block size of carbon ferrochrome in electric furnace smelting is 40-50 mm.
Metallurgical grade chromite ore can also be used to smelt metal chromium. At present, there are two methods for smelting metal chromium in China. Smelting metal chromium by wet method: chrome ore or concentrate containing Cr 2 O 3 ≥ 38 %, Cr 2 O 3 /FeO>2, SiO 2 <12%, Al 2 O 3 <10%, and the ore particle size is less than 180 The purpose should account for more than 80%.
2. Industrial requirements for refractory grade chrome ore In the refractory industry, chrome ore is mainly used to make magnesia chrome bricks, chrome bricks and chrome aluminum bricks.
The chrome ore used to produce refractory materials is divided into two grades. The first grade product is used as a natural refractory material, and the quality requirements are: Cr 2 O 3 ≥ 35%, SiO 2 ≤ 8%, and CaO ≤ 2 %. The second grade is used to produce chrome bricks and chrome-magnesia bricks. The quality requirements are: Cr 2 O 3 ≥ 30% ~ 32%, SiO 2 ≤ 11%, CaO ≤ 3%.
For the above two grades, the ore block size is required to be between 50 and 300 mm, and no more than 5 to 8 mm of stone is not allowed in the ore.
3. Industrial requirements for chemical grade chrome ore In the chemical industry, chrome ore is mainly used to produce dichromate (chromium salt), which is then used as a raw material to produce other chromium compound products. The chrome ore industry for chromium salts requires: Cr 2 O 3 ≥ 30%, Cr 2 O 3 / FeO ≥ 2 to 2.5, and a small amount of SiO 2 .
4. The cast stone chrome ore industrial requirements for the production of chrome ore diabase, their quality requirements: Cr 2 O 3 ≥10% ~
20%, SiO 2 ≤10%.

Plastic Injection Mould

Plastic Injection Mold is an assembly of parts containing within it an impression into which plastic material is injected and cooled. It's the impression which gives the moulding its form. The impression may, therefore, be defined as that part of the mould which imparts shape to the moulding.

The impression is formed by two mould members:

  1. The cavity, which is the female portion of the mould, gives the moulding its external form.
  2. The core, which is the male portion of the mould, forms the internal shape of the moulding.

Cavity and core plates: This is illustrated for a simple container, the basic mould, in this case, consists of two plates. Into one plate is sunk the cavity which shapes the outside form of the moulding and is therefore known as the cavity plate.

Similarly, the core which projects from the core plate forms the inside shape of the moulding. When the mould is closed, the two plates come together forming a space between the cavity and core which is the impression.
