At present, Shahari is supplying titanium dioxide to the world. Its products are mainly used in man-made fibers, paints and packaging, plastics, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, and paper. In the fiber industry, Shahari owns 65% of sales.
At present, Shahari has only one factory specializing in the production of chemical fiber grade titanium dioxide. It is located in the western part of Germany and has a production capacity of about 100,000 tons/year. The company uses the sulfuric acid process and the products are sold under the trademark Hombitan8. The main brands on the Chinese market are R210, R611, R320, Hombitan LW-S, Hombi-tan LW-S-12, Hombitan LW-SU, Hombitan LW-SU-HD, Hombitan LO-CR-SM, Hombitan LC-S.
