FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE COMING TOGETHER TO SUPPORT RYAN MCCARTHY IN HIS BATTLE AGAINST CANCER.
Ryan McCarthy, 25 years old, is a firefighter and paramedic from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. He's also a proud father to his two-year-old son, Liam. Recently, Ryan was diagnosed with B-cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and he’s about to begin a tough journey of six rounds of chemotherapy over the next three months.
The funds raised will help cover:
- Medical expenses including prescriptions and chemo treatments
- Transportation to and from the Robert H. Lurie Cancer Center at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago for his appointments
- Helping with housing costs for his mother, who lives with Multiple Sclerosis and relies on disability income
- Healthy food for Ryan and his family during this difficult time
