Still & Box Alarm in Chicago, 12-3-17

Here's a message from Eric Haak:

I thought I'd share a few photos from a fire that took place at the 16th Battalion on Sunday morning, December 3rd, at 5658 S. Sayre Avenue. Engine 32, which was operating in the spare rig, responded immediately upon arrival. The alarm was quickly canceled by the 16th Battalion less than three minutes after they arrived on scene. There was some extension from the main house into the attached brick garage.

These images give a good sense of the activity and the quick response from the firefighters. It looks like the situation was under control fairly quickly, but the damage to the garage is quite visible. The presence of multiple engines, including Engine 32 in the spare rig, shows how well-prepared the department was for the call.
