On the 15th, the Chongqing Morning Post reporter learned from the management committee of Liangjiang New District that from January to June this year, the production of automobiles in Liangjiang New District was 100,140 units, an increase of 12.1% year-on-year, and the output value was 123.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%. The production of complete vehicles and parts and components of the new district has shown a good development trend.
The reporter learned from the Changan Group that in the first six months of this year, Changan Automobile sold 1.466 million units, ranking third in the sales of China Automotive Group, up 11% year-on-year. Automobile supporting enterprises have also continued to increase their volume. Following the production bases of Jiaxing in Zhejiang and Huai'an in Jiangsu, Chongqing is the most automated production base of Hantai in China. The first and second phases are expected to have a total output value of 1.5 billion yuan this year.
It is reported that Liangjiang New District is actively creating the Chongqing version of “Industry 4.0†with the model of “machine + partsâ€.
