The traditional standard test methods have unfavorable factors such as cumbersome operation, long test analysis time, and being susceptible to external conditions. It is impossible to achieve rapid detection and quality control of asphalt quality.
In order to solve this problem that is extremely distressing for asphalt producers, Yanshan Petrochemical and Beijing University of Chemical Technology have jointly developed an environmentally-friendly asphalt multi-index rapid analyzer based on molecular spectroscopy, multivariate analysis and highly automated integration. The handover was completed a few days ago and the trial was successful.
According to reports, the instrument can not only analyze asphalt penetration, softening point, wax content and other indicators, but also analysis of catalytic cracking feedstock density, hydrocarbon composition, sulfur content.
In addition, the instrument can sample the asphalt sample which is solid at viscous or normal temperature without oven melting. It can be directly sampled by a special sampler with heating function. The required sample volume is only 0.1 gram, and the sample is directly coated on the test. Window, injection and cleaning are very convenient; when analyzing samples, it takes less than 5 minutes from injection, spectral acquisition, data processing, and result display to cleaning. The instrument also supports multiple results transmission methods, and is light in weight and operation. Convenient, ideal for laboratory and on-site analysis.
At present, the mileage of highways in China is the highest in the world. Every year, new highways and renovations require tens of millions of tons of high-grade road oil pitch. The successful development of the asphalt rapid analyzer can not only greatly improve the asphalt blending efficiency and asphalt quality, but also reduce the production cost, and can guide the catalytic cracking unit to optimize operation, tap potential and increase efficiency, and has broad application prospects.
