China National Heavy Duty Truck HOWO A7 enters mature stage

Earlier this year, Sinotruk signed a contract for the export of 750 HOWO A7 tractors with the National Petroleum Corporation of Venezuela. To mature

According to Duan Hengyong, deputy general manager of China National Heavy Duty Truck Sales Corp., in the first five months of this year, the sales of HOWO A7 more than quadrupled over the previous year. "Last year, HOWO A7 was the first year of its listing. Its annual sales volume reached 1958. By the end of May this year, there have been more than 4,000 orders, more than double the number of the previous year."

Dealers are the ones who have the right to speak. Du Weiguo, chairman of Jinan Huadong Heavy-duty Truck Co., Ltd., laments that the lead-in period of HOWO A7 is very short and the products are quickly recognized by the market. "Last year last year, we sold more than 1,000 CNHTC products, of which there are 20 A7s. By the end of May this year, we have sold more than 800 vehicles, and HOWO A7 has had more than 50 vehicles."

Duan Hengyong revealed that this year's heavy-duty truck market has ushered in a strong growth trend. The highway capacity has improved and the tractor market has grown rapidly. The tractor market reached 210,000 vehicles last year, among which Dongfeng, Liberation, and Fuman Auman The tractor market reached more than 150,000, and the product structure of Sinotruck relied excessively on the absolute market share of dump trucks and construction vehicles. While occupying a segmented market with absolute advantages, the market structure was very uneven. Wang Dechun, general manager of China National Heavy Duty Truck Marketing Department, told reporters that Sinotruk launched the original intention of HOWO A7 early last year, just let the market know this product, and did not pursue much sales, because HOWO series products are still strong in the middle of China CNHTC's market mainly relies on the best-selling HOWO products, and it is not eager to push the higher-end HOWO A7. Even under such conditions, nearly 2,000 vehicles were sold last year, and the full range of HOWO A7 dump trucks, mixers, and mixed cement trucks will be announced in July. Yu Youde, deputy general manager of sales of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, said that HOWO A7 should reach 8,000 to 10,000 cars this year. In fact, compared to other high-end heavy trucks, such as Liberation J6, Dongfeng Tianlong, HOWO A7 has been fast enough since its introduction into maturity.

Market recognition

In 2009, China National Heavy Duty Truck sold more than 120,000 vehicles, ranking among the top three heavy vehicle manufacturers in the world. This year's target is 150,000. According to internal analysis by China National Heavy Duty Truck, more than 160,000 vehicles and even 170,000 vehicles are possible. Because the market is hot in the first half of the year, the key depends on the second half of the year. For Sinotruk, under such sales, China National Heavy Duty Truck not only achieved rapid growth in scale, but also led the trend of high-end luxury heavy vehicles.

During the interview with Director Wang Yiping, he listed the seven major global suppliers of the company's manpower.
