Abstract: In order to speed up the transformation and upgrading of the fastener manufacturing industry, the first “China Fastener Industry Expo†(hereinafter referred to as “Jiaxing Compact Expoâ€) jointly organized by the China Mechanical and Electrical Products Association and the People's Government of Jiaxing City will be held on October 14. At the same time, the market demand for fastener products in the international market is still very large, especially in the production of high value-added products there are still many gaps, so the transformation and upgrading of the fastener industry is imminent.
With the adjustment and development of the global fastener industry, China has become the world’s largest producer and exporter of fasteners; at the same time, due to the global financial crisis, anti-dumping around fasteners has continued one after another. The export of fasteners in China caused a great impact; Zhejiang Province represented by industrial clusters such as Jiaxing, Ningbo, and Wenzhou was the major exporter of fasteners in the country, while in Jiaxing, the export of fastener products was 77.995 million US dollars. It accounted for 48.67% of the export value of fastener products in Zhejiang Province, which was 1/4 of the national fastener export volume. A large number of companies such as Jinyi Screw, a key supplier of high-speed rail fasteners, are located in Jiaxing, and there are currently more than 2,000 fastener companies in Jiaxing.

Its output accounts for 70% of the country's total; exports account for 50% of the country's total. Jiaxing is the main base of fastener production in Zhejiang Province. Through the "close exhibition", Jiaxing aims to further build China's fastener production base and export base, so as to achieve the goal of both domestic and foreign sales.
