Engine 96 responded to a fire last night on March 7th, 2017, at 5858 West Augusta Boulevard. Firefighters quickly deployed two lines, and Truck 29 was positioned with their main line on the roof. The incident took place at what appeared to be an occupied and heavily secured corner store, which made for a challenging response.
Josh captured several powerful images of the scene, showing firefighters working hard to contain the blaze. The photos reflect the intensity of the situation and the professionalism of the Chicago Fire Department as they worked to protect both people and property.
