The strategy of the National Belt and Road Initiative (Silk Road Economic Belt and 21st Century Maritime Silk Road) provides a broad space for the development of the logistics industry. The Guangdong-Suzhou-Chongqing logistics channel has been officially listed as the pilot project of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road as a connecting channel for the Belt and Road.
It is reported that the four provinces of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Anhui and Anhui are working together to create a large logistics channel from the Yangtze River Delta to the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, the first phase of the four major logistics channels will form a “14891†spatial layout, specifically “one channel, four major logistics nodes, eight major stations, nine large hanging centers, and a number of service areasâ€. According to reports, the four major logistics channels are built on the basis of “string-type transport†to reduce logistics costs and provide logistics and transportation efficiency.
