Tire industry may have found an entry point for transformation and upgrading

Wang Feng believes that the breakthroughs made in the transformation and upgrading of China's tire industry are mainly reflected in three aspects. The first support backbone enterprises will be bigger and stronger, and increase the global market share. Secondly, it will actively promote the “go global” strategy and implement the global layout of the tire industry. Third, it will accelerate the construction of tire testing sites and eliminate some backward production capacity.

It is understood that at present, there are two tire companies in China that are building overseas R&D centers, which are Zhongce Rubber and exquisite tires. The Triangle tires have established the first overseas technology R&D center in the United States three years ago.

It is reported that in terms of establishing overseas factories, Phase 1 of the Race Wheels (Vietnam) has an annual output of 3 million semi-steel radial tires and 10,000 all-steel radial tires projects have been put into production, and the second phase of the project is under construction; Linglong Tire (Thailand) 1 The project also entered the trial production stage. A staff member of Hangzhou Zhongce Rubber Co., Ltd. told the Tire World Network that the Chinese factory in Thailand had started construction and it was expected to be completed in June 2015. At present, the company has devoted much of its energy to the construction of Thai factories.

As for the construction of the tire testing ground, Tire World Net was informed that the Linglong Tire Testing Ground Project is under construction and it is planned to be put into use partially in 2015. By then, it will be open to the entire industry. In addition, the project of Guangrao Tire Testing Site has been approved.

Wang Feng's opinion is that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "tire industry access conditions" to help promote the gradual restructuring of enterprises, and eliminate heavy pollution, high energy consumption, low-grade products of small and medium enterprises.

In addition, according to the recently implemented "Tianjin Tire Enterprise Transformation and Upgrade Implementation Plan," by the end of 2017, Shandong Province will strive to eliminate 15 million sets of inner steel radial tires and 12 million sets of biased tire production capacity; by the end of 2020, Strive to phase out 30 million sets of inner steel radial tires and 20 million sets of bias tires. As China's largest tire production province, Shandong Province's plan may have an important impact on China's tire production pattern.
