From Jiangsu Helen Chemical Co., Ltd., the air compressor unit of this project is composed of steam turbine, air compressor and exhaust gas expander. The whole unit is supplied by means of the whole unit, that is, all equipment within 1 meter outside the factory, from installation to commissioning. The completion of all is carried out by Shen drum, which is the turnkey project, which was commissioned in January this year. At present, among the two sets of PA2 developed by the Drum Group, the A unit is fully loaded, and the mechanical performance and aerodynamic performance have reached the design index; the B unit has 90% operating conditions, and the mechanical and aerodynamic performances have reached the design index.

It is understood that at present, almost all air compressor units for PTA installations in China are imported from abroad. Due to the special process, high price and long delivery time, the localization of the core equipment has been a major problem for petrochemical enterprises.

It is reported that when the PTA unit is installed, the 30,000 kW test motor + hydraulic coupler + product reducer + centrifugal compressor + centripetal expander are connected in series, the total length is nearly 30 meters, the total height is nearly 15 meters, creating more The most important items are: designing and manufacturing the largest multi-axis compressor; designing and manufacturing the largest multi-stage expander unit; the trial technical solution is the most difficult, and the motor starting scheme is the most complicated; the unit adopts precise adjustment method and scientific test. The circuit, the compressor and the expander are simultaneously tested to become the most efficient aerodynamic performance test; the first truly complete turnkey project. As the core component of the PTA exhaust expander, the safety and reliability of the nozzle adjustment mechanism is the top priority of the project. The team members solved the difficulties in research and development of high temperature and corrosion resistant oil-free lubricating parts, transmission torque component strength check, etc., and broke through the development of PA2 first-stage nozzle adjustment mechanism. In June 2010, no-load debugging was successful, and all indicators were completely Meet design requirements and international standards. In September 2011, the project entered the commissioning phase and was successfully commissioned before the Spring Festival in 2012.

Thiocyanate[4] is known to be an important part in the biosynthesis of hypothiocyanite by a lactoperoxidase.[5][6][7] Thus the complete absence of thiocyanate[8] or reduced thiocyanate[9] in the human body, (e.g., cystic fibrosis) is damaging to the human host defense system.[10][11]

Thiocyanate is a potent competitive inhibitor of the thyroid sodium-iodide symporter.[12] Iodine is an essential component of thyroxine. Since thiocyanates will decrease iodide transport into the thyroid follicular cell, they will decrease the amount of thyroxine produced by the thyroid gland. As such, foodstuffs containing thiocyanate are best avoided by Iodide deficient hypothyroid patients.[13]

In the early 20th century, thiocyanate was used in the treatment of hypertension, but it is no longer used because of associated toxicity.[14] Sodium nitroprusside, a metabolite of which is thiocyanate, is however still used for the treatment of a hypertensive emergency. Rhodanese catalyzes the reaction of sodium nitroprusside with thiosulfate to form the metabolite thiocyanate
