The simulation results show that the control scheme not only has good dynamic performance, but also satisfies the requirement for a smooth start of the vehicle on the slope. Therefore, the clutch control law in this paper is ideal.

Analyze the characteristics and shortages of automatic mechanical transmission (AMT gearbox) clutch control, aiming at common problems such as large impact of clutch control, unstable engine operation, and vehicle slipping when AMT vehicle starts at the ramp, based on the ideal clutch torque transmission control. The method, through the optimization of the traditional impact degree and the sliding work index, combined with the driver's intention and the judgment of the road, developed the optimal clutch control law. Simulation results show that the proposed method not only ensures the stability and quickness of starting the slope of the vehicle, but also combines the mapping method and the analytical method, reduces the amount of calculation, and has quickness and accuracy in algorithm implementation.
