Just got these awesome photos from Chi-Town Fire Photos. The Forest View Fire Department recently brought their older Pierce engine back into action after giving it a full makeover courtesy of Alexis Fire Equipment. Engine 8 is now serving as their frontline apparatus, while Engine 81 (based at X-Stone Park) has been designated as the reserve unit.
I really love how this project turned out. It's a great example of what Alexis Fire Equipment can do for various suburban fire departments. If you're interested in seeing more of their work, be sure to check out the gallery section on their website.
Attached are some images showcasing the incredible transformation. The first photo highlights Engine 8 looking as good as new. The second image features one of their Type 1 ambulances, which also underwent significant repairs and upgrades. Following that is a shot of their Saber model Pierce truck, looking sharp and ready for action. Last but not least, there’s a fantastic view of their E-ONE Quest apparatus, another testament to the quality of work done by Alexis Fire Equipment.
For those who might be curious about the process or interested in similar services, the final image gives a broader perspective of the setup. These photos truly capture the essence of dedication and professionalism displayed by the team at Forest View FD and Alexis Fire Equipment.
If you're a fan of fire trucks or just appreciate well-maintained emergency vehicles, these photos are definitely worth checking out. Let me know what you think!
