So I got these pictures of the fire that broke out at the Wonder Lake property on East Lake Shore Drive early this morning (December 27, 2020). It happened around 5 AM at the address 5712 E Lake Shore Dr. When the first responders arrived, the entire house was already fully engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, one person remains unaccounted for. The state fire marshal and the coroner have been called to the scene for further investigation.

The situation looks pretty dire based on these images. The firefighters likely had their work cut out for them given how quickly the fire spread. Let’s hope they manage to get everything under control soon, and hopefully, we’ll get updates on the missing person as well.
