ASTM A178 Carbon Steel Tube
The ASTM A178 standard specifies the requirements for resistance-welded steel tubes with minimum wall thickness. These tubes are manufactured using carbon steel and carbon-manganese steel, making them ideal for applications such as boiler tubes, boiler flues, superheater flues, and safety ends. The materials come in three grades: Grade A (low-carbon steel), Grade C (medium-carbon steel), and Grade D (carbon-manganese steel). During production, the process includes heat treatment, cooling, and welding. If requested by the client, a crushing test can be conducted to ensure quality.
