6. Use and Maintenance
1). Ensure the pump operates at standard speed during use; avoid increasing speed arbitrarily to prevent safety hazards and extend the pump's lifespan.

2). For direct-coupled units, ensure the chassis remains stable to avoid damaging the coupling. For belt-driven units, align the pulleys properly and adjust the belt tension appropriately. If the pump doesn't turn, it may be due to rusted impeller rings, and you can gently tap the coupling axially with a mallet. The pump mounting height should be less than 1-2 meters for optimal suction.

3). Stop the engine if you notice any abnormalities (such as unusual noise, shocks, or decreased hydraulic discharge) and monitor bearing temperature, which should not exceed 75°C. If the pump is not used for an extended period, drain the water, perform maintenance, and store it in a dry and ventilated area. In winter, drain the water immediately after use to prevent frost damage. After every 1000 hours of operation, disassemble and clean the bearings and replace any wear parts.
