Product Description
The XD series vacuum pump is a single-stage rotary vane oil-sealed vacuum pump, commonly used in low and medium vacuum applications. It can be used independently or as a forepump for other types of vacuum pumps such as mechanical booster pumps and turbo molecular pumps.
These pumps are designed for air and dry gases, not for corrosive, toxic, flammable, or explosive gases. They also cannot handle gases with small particles or dust. The XD series is suitable for long-term operation in well-ventilated environments with ambient temperatures between 5°C and 30°C and humidity below 80%.
Additional applications include:
- Combining with Roots pumps to increase pumping capacity and improve vacuum level.
- Installing a condenser before the pump when dealing with moist or condensable gases, along with a gas ballast valve.
- Using dust filters if the gas contains particles.
- Adding corrosion-resistant filters for corrosive gases.
