The DPA Distributor-type Injection Pump uses a single steel rotor, which works as the pumping element and also distributes the fuel. It contains no ball or roller bearings, gears, or highly stressed springs. Sensitive speed control is maintained by a governor that is either mechanically or hydraulically operated within the pump itself. This makes them by 30-60% smaller and lighter than similar multi-section in-line injection pumps. Application of a single pumping-distributing assembly results in high time and cubic uniformity of the fuel dose supplied to respective engine cylinders. Thereby eliminating through adjustment, which is necessary in the case of in-line injection pumps. The distributor fuel injection pumps do not require separate lubrication system as fuel supplied to pump interior ensures adequate lubrication and cooling of the mating parts. FEATURES 1.
