2. Assembling of Diesel Generator Sets

The cylinder sleeve assembly method is as follows:

1 First clean the cylinder liner, then paste the copper gasket with grease on the bearing surface of the flange of the cylinder liner.

2 Put the water blocking field into the groove of the cylinder liner, and be careful to place it evenly. Do not twist it. After the water-blocking ring is installed, it is also necessary to check the height of the outer surface of the protruding cylinder liner with the outer surface of the water-blocking collar. Generally, it should be 0.35-0.65mm. If the projection height is less than 0.35mm, it will cause lax seal, so that the cooling water enters the oil pan through the water stop ring; if the projection height is greater than 0.65mm, the cylinder liner will be deformed. Before putting the cylinder into the body, apply some oil or soapy water to the water stop ring.

2When assembling the cylinder liner, both hands should be attached sideways, and press it with force while pressing down, as shown in Figure 2-21. During the assembly of the cylinder liner, the water stop ring and the copper gasket must be prevented from being curled. In order to check the quality of the assembly, a hydrostatic test should generally be performed on the water stop ring to check for leaks.

3. Installation of diesel generating set transmission cover root and transmission mechanism

The installation method of the transmission cover pull and transmission mechanism is as follows:

1 Fix the screw of the drive cover, and use a feeler gauge to check whether the clearance between the front axle and the front bearing bearing hole meets the technical requirements.

2 Install the fuel pump bearing housing and drive shaft. Firstly, two rolling bearings are mounted on the drive shaft, then the drive shaft is installed in the bearing seat and the hole lock spring is assembled, and then the oil cover gasket, the oil protection cover (including the oil seal) and the drive shaft disk are installed. . After the above parts are installed as required, the transmission bearing seat and the transmission shaft are inserted into the hole of the transmission shaft of the machine body and tightened with screws, and the transmission gear of the fuel injection pump is finally installed.

3 Install the camshaft. Firstly, clean the camshaft, and pour the oil on the backup journal. Put it into the camshaft bearing on both ends, and then press the camshaft to install on the thrust bearing seat. Pay attention to the side of the oil file. Outside and align the two positioning pins. Then the parking hole on the thrust bearing housing is facing the oil hole on the side of the transmission cover plate. The thrust bearing housing is inserted into the housing seat hole, and then three screws are tightened. Finally, the camshaft gear is installed. After assembly, check with the dial indicator whether the glaze clearance of the camshaft meets the requirements.

4 Install the crankshaft plate before installing the drive gear.

5 Install the idler gear. The transmission oil pump gear should not be reversed during installation. The concave gear should be fixed on the bearing seat inwards, and should be locked with a safety disk. * When installing the timing gear, the drive gear, camshaft gear, and fuel pump gear must be turned on. In a suitable position, and place the three positioning marks “0 0”, “l”, “2” on the timing gear and the mark “0” on the drive gear, the mark “gate” on the camshaft gear, and the injection pump. At the same time aligned on the gear shaft. After confirming that the positioning mark is wrong, put on the locking piece and tighten the nut.

6 Check the meshing clearance between the gears and the axial clearance of the crankshaft. After all kinds of gears have been assembled, check the meshing clearance of each gear first with a feeler gauge, which should generally be within o.08-o.35 coffee range. If it does not meet the regulations, it should be adjusted or replaced. Then, install a trapped oil trap, lock washer and crank nut.

After tightening with a special tool, use a feeler gauge to insert between the thrust plate and the thrust bearing, and recheck the axial clearance of the crankshaft.

4. Piston rod assembly installation

The piston rod assembly is installed as follows:

1 After the piston rod assembly is cleaned and blow dried, paint the oil ring openings on the connecting rod big head cover and the lower tile staggered by 120. Left and right, as shown in Figure 3-41.

2 Place the special tool for piston installation on the upper surface of the cylinder liner. Turn the crankshaft so that the cylinder rod journal is 90 after top dead center. From the left and right positions, slowly insert the piston rod assembly into the cylinder liner (see Figure 342). Note that there should be a small amount of oil in the cylinder liner before loading the piston assembly.

3 When assembling the connecting rod head cover, align the pair of connecting rods and use a torque wrench to alternately twist the connecting rod screws 2 to 3 times evenly, as shown in Figure 3-43. The tightening torque of the copper plated screws is 255~274N·m, and the tightening torque of the connecting rod screws fixed by phosphor bronze wire is 175~195N·m. After everything is assembled, there should be no blockage when turning the crankshaft.

4 Finally, the installation condition of the connecting rod assembly of each cylinder should be checked again, and the running test can be performed only when the correctness is confirmed.

5. Installation of Diesel Generator Sets Cylinders Benefits and Transmission Components

The cylinder head and drive assembly are installed as follows;

1 Put cylinder pad on the body before assembling cylinder head

2 Put the cylinder head on the upper part of the cylinder pad, and put all the nuts and washers. Do not turn the nut upside down.

The gaskets at the junction of the cylinder head and the bearing plate and the two cylinder heads are spherical male and female gaskets, and the recessed gaskets should be placed below, as shown in Figure 345.

2 As shown in Figure 2-14, press the inner and outer outwards to the mother, and the torque is 245-265N·m. The nut between the two cylinder heads and the nut between the cylinder head and the support plate must be tightened diagonally to the specified torque after the cylinder head is tightened.

4 When installing the tappets and push rods, clean them, put the tappets into the side holes of the body, and put them in the push rods, as shown in Figure 3-46. When putting the rod, be sure to place it in the center of the tappet, otherwise the adjusted valve clearance is not confirmed. The crossover sequence is divided into 2 to 3 times with a force wrench to tighten the screw 5 assembly rocker assembly and the copper tubing between them.

6. Installation of External Accessories for Diesel Generator Sets

The installation order of external accessories is:

1 Install the high pressure oil pump assembly. The method is: The disc crank makes the first cylinder at the top dead center of the compression stroke, then the camshaft of the fuel injection pump is rotated, the plunger of the first cylinder is in the oil supply position, and then the bakelite connection block on the connector is put, and the fuel injection pump is put. Connect with the shaft adapter and use 4 bolts to secure the injection pump assembly to the base.

2 Install intake and exhaust pipes and air cleaners.

3 Install the starter, generator, instrument panel, etc.

4 Install the oil radiator, oil filter and oil line.

5 Install the pump, pulley, inlet and outlet pipes, etc.

6 Install diesel filter, low pressure tubing, and high pressure tubing.

7 Install the inspection cover on both sides of the body.

Check and adjust the diesel engine after assembly.

Fourth, the cold and hot running-in after the total assembly of the diesel engine

After the overhaul of the diesel engine, it must go through a period of inquiries to the normal use of the replacement of new parts in the assembly process more, and the surface roughness of the newly assembled parts, coupled with the human factors of assembly quality, leading to the initial stage can not be compared with other Parts or parts form normal fit clearances. The cold and hot running-in method of the diesel engine is as follows:

1 cold run-in. The diesel engine may not be started, and the diesel engine may be operated by using a battery or manually pulling the flywheel of the diesel engine. After the cold running-in, the oil in the oil casing must be completely drained and cleaned with cleaning oil.

2 thermal run-in. First, it should be carried out under no load, and the running speed of the diesel engine can be controlled within 130b/hln. After each technical indicator meets the requirement of no-load running-in, it will carry out thermal run-in. This time is generally about 60h, the operator can also be determined according to the specific circumstances. In the process of loading, there must be a gradual increase from a small load to a large load until the diesel engine meets the normal standards for carrying out thermal run-in.

3 diesel engine in the thermal run-in process. The oil temperature should be controlled within the range of 65°C~75°C, and the cooling water temperature should be controlled within the range of 70°C~80°C.
