Just saw this update on the Village of Dwight EMS remount project over on the Crossroads Ambulance Sales and Service LLC Facebook page! They’ve been keeping everyone in the loop with some exciting progress photos. The Medwerks ambulance remount, which was originally sourced from Alexis Fire Equipment Company, has now completed its conversion into a Type I configuration. It recently came back from the paint shop looking sharp and ready for the next steps.
Right now, they’re busy adding the finishing touches—installing graphics and making electrical upgrades. One small but important detail still pending is getting the black wheels back from the paint shop. It’s great to see all these details coming together piece by piece.
