Hey everyone,
I just got some updates from Scott Matthews about the new ambulance that’s joining our fleet. They’re retiring the old unit, 534, and this one is a brand-new 2012 F-450 Super Duty paired with a Medtec body. It looks like it’s really coming together nicely, and it should be ready for service in a couple of weeks.
I managed to snap a few photos while it was being prepped. The first shot gives you a good look at the exterior—pretty sharp compared to what we had before. You can see how much more modern and efficient it feels. I’ll attach a couple more images that show different angles, including the interior setup. Everything seems to be top-notch, with all the latest gear installed.
One thing I noticed is that they’ve really focused on making it as functional as possible without losing any of the comfort. It’s clear they wanted to ensure the crew has everything they need when responding to calls. From what Scott mentioned, the plan is to keep upgrading our fleet, which is great news for all of us.
